oh italy!

Well its been almost 7 months since Ive been in Italy and I still miss it. Its kinda weird-everyonce and awhile i still have flashbacks to italy. Like the Friday before I came back to school the 'rent and I went out to dinner to Applebees, and I had the Three Cheese Chicken Penne (which I HIGHLY recommend) and I reached to get my water half expecting there to be a .5 L glass bottle of water sitting next to my glass. I adjusted to the States pretty easily-i never asked the waiter for L'acqua naturale or margherita pizza. But everyonce and awhile I'll be sitting there and flashback to the vino and paying for water. (which i dont miss by the way) Just now I was sitting at my desk and thought of my apartment in Italy. NO idea why -well i smelled something-not sure what-maybe my lotion? and thought of the apt. Oh man that place was sweet. except for the no living room and small kitchen, but i got over that pretty fast. It probably doesnt help that i have almost a whole wall with italy pictures and artsy things that i bought there. and Now i have a 365 day calender of Italy-the pictures are pretty awesome. mY favorite one so for is of a limoncello store :) I dont think i'll ever forget limoncello... and espresso.

Side story-Heres one thing Im not a big fan of-country remakes of popular songs. There have been several where theres a really popular song out and then a country singer will remake it-so both are out at the same time. Like "crazy" by Gnarls Barkley-that song should never be country! and now Lips of an Angel is on... i mean if it had started out as country itd be fine, but its a rock song... not the same
