I hate technology...

So for those of you who know me pretty know, you know that if i could do anything to my computer...it would be to throw it out a window. This last year i think it wouldve been fun to toss it off my balcony (i think i had several friends offer to do it for me too) Why is that you may ask? Because it likes to turn off-usually at times when i need it the most. Right before I get a chance to save an important paper, right as im about to click send on a really really long email, and when im talking to a friend online i havent talked to in awhile. Im pretty sure its because it overheats and shuts off. True this is a bit of an improvement from the random freezing it used to do freshman year. I finally got a Dell guy to fix that and i get the turning off now. whatever... So yesterday Mom and I drove up to school to finish packing up... guess what my car does? basically the same thing as my computer. just with a little shaking and a few more lights. Mom and I had taken a break from driving and were about to get on the on ramp when my car started to shake and stopped accelerating. Im not worried or freaking out, more just ticked off and pulled over. My car has done this before... at least twice. The first time the place i took it to couldnt find anything wrong with it. Then the second time I took it to a ford dealer. They found $1000 worth of stuff wrong with it... which i thought they fixed it. Nope-not this problem at least. so long story short, mom and i got it towed looked at, nothing wrong with it. made it to school, stayed the night, packed up and left. I think we made it to a town named Lebanon, which is about 8 miles from mascoutah, and it stopped again. we stopped there to eat lunch and didnt make it out of the parking lot. then we made it to the gas station across the street. Then made it to a school about 1 mile from that. Then finally made it home. but the normal 3 hour trip took 6.5 hours on monday and 4.5 today. not cool. I've been thinking about what kind of purchases Im going to make when I get a job next year. My friend just got a new car-thats what sparked this conversation. I told her i was probably going to wait a year or two to wait so i can save money, but now Im thinking the car is going to be number 1 major purchase. But who knows, it might take a year to get the money for it... I told mom if she wanted her car back Id trade her her new one, for my (which was once hers...well technically still is) pretty blue taruas. she said no. so then i tried to trade with dad...same answer ;) oh well.
alright i gotta get going...
