School

Well, its been awhile since Ive posted. I thought about posting a few times, but by the time I got around to it, it didnt seem too significant anymore. This is probably going to be a pointless post-just rambling about a few random things. but whatever.

I went on a Fall Retreat a few weeks ago. It was amazing fun! I definatly left there different than when I went there. Without going into specifics, i was really looking forward to Fall Retreat. Spending some alone time with God and hanging out with my friends. I ended up hanging out with about 3 girls all weekend. It was just what I needed to get out of the funk i was in. I left there feeling a lot closer to some of the (newer) girls in my Bible study-They are the crazy giggly (?) girls i needed. I also learned some thing about myself and how to look at myself (something else I needed) things you know, but you just need to hear everyonce and awhile.

So this weekend, my parents came to visit for the weekend. It was great to see them again-and they brought stuff! i LOVE stuff. mostly just clothes, mail, food :) ski :) :) We went to a football game on Saturday (dont want to talk about it-sadly not the most disappointing game Ive been to during my time here at ILLINOIS) and so I bought the tickets and my dad usually just pays me back in cash... This time he told me to hold out my hands-and he put in them a roll of quarters! and then another and another (by this time i cant believe how many quarters I have in my hand-Its been pretty sad not having quarters to do laundry with or pay the meters) so he keeps putting quarters into my hand until i have ~7-8 rolls of quarters in my hand! CRAZY! they are all lined up on my shelf... :-D YEAH! so that should last about a month...jk.
