possums

Tonight I had a little run in with a possum...
My friend Lori and I went to the mall today so she could do some late minute shopping. So we're back at her place and she's pulling into her garage (which is actually a barn/garage) and she had me get out before she pulled in 'cuz its a tight squeeze. So she stopped before pulling in and she got out and went inside and i guess she saw something run behind these sheets of wood that were against the side. and she pulled them back a little and asked me if i saw anything...and i thought she was crazy cuz i couldnt see anything and then i saw it! a pink face! it was a possum. have you ever seen one of these guys? up close and personal? i have twice-once when i was driving i saw one in the distance...its eyes glared at me and its tail is kinda creepy... not exactly the cutest animal ever.... actually not cute at all.. So i kinda backed out of the garage a little and she stepped back. So then the wood fell to the ground and you could see its face, and i was just waiting for this thing to attack us. and the wood was apparently stuck on the possum's foot or something so lori was trying to move the wood so it could get out, and then the lights in the garage went out so we ran out of the garage (im still afraid this thing is going to attack us) so then the light went back on, and we managed to get the wood back up and the possum was hissing, but it didnt leave. and lori pulled her car in the garage and it never ran out.
So thats my fun story for break so far...
