We hired someone from "the office"?!

I have thought for about 2 years now that the office I work in is like "the office." Long story short (ok its not that long) I work for a hospital-and my department is like the office... normally we dont interact with the people in the hospital except for the quarterly town hall meeting and if we need something. Today's meeting was pretty popular (i mean i was in attendance so i can see why) but we had a full house. So my coworkers and i chilled in the back, i mean thats how we roll... sit in the back (it really is true about athletic trainers being the former jocks-we still act like it) Im listening to how well we are doing in care, what we can do to be even better etc etc. Then they start talking about how we've hired all these new physicians and care takers and they had pictures and I swear one of them (at least from the way back) looked like MIndy Kaling-the woman who plays Kelly in the office. and I thought WHOA! i didnt know we hired her-how cooL!!! and thats the only part i really remember.. and how we (my department) is 100 percent in patient quality of care... or something. whoo! and yet sadly we still had to start our own applause. :)
