This one's random...

So i always feel like blogging after reading my sister's blog-she's good at keeping up with hers and Im good at thinking about blogging.... and not. Usually my blogs are about really random stuff-so here goes this months random blog...

I've become a golfer-weird. i know right? Even to the point where i enjoy it and suggest we go play. I have a friend who is an awesome golfer and played in college and all that jazz... I was told if i want to hang out with her this summer-i must play golf and watch the Cardinals play. Fine. So now i golf and know almost all the Cardinals players. I have introduced her to musicals---im working on roller blades/ice skating and soccer. We did watch some soccer the other day. I was impressed. anyway-so i golf. apparently im pretty decent. I still say i suck at driving the ball (she'd probably agree) i keep hitting it kind of like a line drive in baseball... doesnt go very far. the other day though i did it it several times far-like when the club hit it you could tell it was gonna go far. I was excited... played well for 6 holes and then sucked it up! apparently i should stop at 6, i lose focus, get impatient and frustrated. I feel like i should be almost as good as her, even though she has been playing for about 15 years more consistantly than me... whatever ;) i could still kick her butt in soccer... too bad thats a team sport. back to me and golf :P I am a decent putter-decent. I used to suck at putting. somehow my talents flip-flopped. used to be a decent driver-now i suck, used to suck at putting, now im decent. But my best is probably chipping. maybe... thats the most fun to me. and happy gilmoreing it at a water hole :)

Latest news-IM going to Cali. Im sooooo excited! Im even taking a day and driving up the coast by myself. Im actually really excited about that. Yeah it would be cooler to have someone with me, but it'll be fun. Heck-if i can explore florence on my own for two days... I can drive up the california coastline. I just need to find something to do along the coast-i keep thinking about getting a book, but i cant quite justify buying a book for a day trip.

anywho... i should get to bed-i keep staying up too late when i have to work. arg-im so ready for vaca :) so excited to spend the whole week with my favorite sister. just sister girly time. So this is my plan for vaca- lay in the hammock, play with the dogs, go to the pool, go to the beach, visit with sister, see cali... and repeat :)
