Da Vinci

Ciao, Today had been pretty good. Bene. Class is going ok, you have to concentrate so hard to have any sort of idea whats going on... and of course the time i dont know-she calls on me. Today we practiced spelling and i of course went first... Im not good at spelling..even in english. So she said the word and i tried to spell it, very unsuccessfully. I had to spell the italian word for cherry... ciliegia. it took several tries. But everyone in the class randomly struggles, so at least we all do and its not everyone gets everything. I start art history tomorrow, the teachers are all supposed to teach in italian, but i dont know how we can learn art history in italian. i can understand painting being able to, but art history i feel should be more of a lecture and not as much visual, except to look at the art. I guess we'll see. Im taking my cooking class on june 6th. I hear its fun. im so excited for that.
Today after lunch, i walked around some. I dont really ever have a plan, so i just find something on the map and go find out what it is, and then sometimes i'll take a picture of something, not know what it is so i'll go find out. thats fun to big builings in the distance. I almost did that today, but was in search of something else and was having trouble finding it so i didnt want to get too sidetracked. I wanted to see i think its called Ponte Leoni... I FINALLY find it...turns out its something ive already seen... its a part of the street where they have a big hole where you can see under the street and its part of the old city, IM still not totally sure what it is. So i looked at it more closely. I saw it when Claudio took us on a tour of Verona. Then I headed near the Piazza Erbe and sat on the steps of a building and read more of the Da Vinci code for over an hour. that book is definatly one of my top favorites at the moment. I love symbolism, so i think thats why i like the book so much. Im at like page 140 something i think and i started two days ago. i have a feeling i'll have it read by the end of the week. Maybe i can find someone to go see the movie with me next week if its still playing, i think it would be fun to see in Italian. I actually just want to see any movie in italian, well one ive either seen or dont want to see in the states. well i have to go do some shopping! Ciao!
